I came across this amazing work via SeptemberIndustry.
Method, a agency based in San Francisco, New York, and London worked with the San Fransisco Film Festival to create a body of work that was a “total departure from the look of previous festivals” for SFiFF and proved to be a smash. Method based the logotype on “a hard-edged, solid type with a Constructivist, international edge.” What I enjoy must is the way the logo primes one to reflect on film strips, in a timeless manner. I highly recommend spending some time reading through their case studies. Very good stuff.
